The Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association has included a “Meet the Brewers” tent at the Brewers Festival, for four years running.  The CanAm will embrace this tradition and bring you some tasty Canadian morsels paired with artfully brewed Canadian and American Craft Brews.   Two CanAm Meet the Brewers Seminars will be given by two esteemed members of the Ontario craft brewing industry.  Namely, one seminar will be lead by Jon Downing, master brewer and professor at Niagara College Teaching Brewery, the other by Stephen Beaumont, the Toronto-based craft beer writer and author of the Beer & Food Companion, The World Atlas of Beer, and the Pocket Beer Guide.  The details of the two seminars are forthcoming – check back often for updates.  Tickets for Meet the Brewer will be $5 and can be purchased at the door and at the seminars directly.

SAMPLE Meet the Brewer Pairings from Summer 2017 (CanAm Menu will be different) 

Session 1 – 4:30pm to 5:00pm: Local Breweries & Reverie Creamery Cheese Pairing – 4 local  breweries and Riko Chandra of Reverie Creamery are teaming up to deliver a cheese & beer pairing event that will leave you wondering why you would ever pair cheese with any other beverage.  Breweries:  Four Mile, Rusty Nickel, Southern Tier, and Windy Brew. $5 ticket (only 75 tickets available).

Session 2 – 5:30pm to 6:00pm: Local Breweries & Thinking Elvish Chocolate Pairing – Lacy Christ of Elvish Chocolate will bring together 4 local brewers for a pairing of her amazing chocolates.  Breweries: 12 Gates, 42 North, Resurgence, and Thin Man.  $5 ticket (only 75 tickets available).
